Lizard Safeguard - PDF Viewer 2.5 is the only software that was designed to open the Safeguard PDF Writer protected Adobe PDF documents. The program requires a (.llv) file which is sent by the protected document's author. The application enables the document publisher to put certain restriction on the viewer behavior such as enhanced screen capture grabbing protection that prevents the use of the print screen button of the keyboard and it will not run if the user was having a screen capture program but if he opens any screen capture utility while viewing the protected document, the viewer will unload itself immediately and asks the user to close his screen capture utility. If the license of the document is set to expire after a certain date or after certain views count, the viewer program will refuse to load. The viewer has only the basic features to browse the PDF document such as bookmark navigation. It allows quick jumping to any page and the user can zoom in or zoom out the page. Another useful feature on the Viewer is that it has a good search function with adjustable transparency and options to match case or whole word. |
